The International Journal of Poultry Science operates under an open-access publishing model and requires an Article Processing Charge (APC) upon acceptance of a manuscript. To support authors from low-income countries, the journal offers a 50% APC reduction, subject to eligibility. Authors may request this reduction at the time of manuscript submission. All requests are reviewed confidentially based on the author’s institutional affiliation and country classification. The APC reduction request is handled independently and does not influence the peer review or editorial decision. If approved, the reduced APC amount will be clearly communicated to the author upon acceptance.
